The Tanzanian people are very friendly and we wouldn't have made it to the top of Kilimanjaro without our guide and great friend Johnny.

Johnny was very patient, and explained everything there was to know about the mountain. 

At the end of every day, he took us on an acclimitisation hike, so that we experienced an altitude 100m higher than we would be sleeping that night. 
This helps to avoid altitude sickness.
